Well, there are portraits and portraits. This was one fantastic gathering of bellydancers. Including two of the top bellydance teachers in Edinburgh, no less. It was a welcome splash of colour and fun on a wet December afternoon and everyone had great fun showing off their moves and costumes.
This was arranged by the lovely Elspeth, know as Swish&Hips, an amazing athletic and charismatic bellydance teacher. Her mantra is that belly dance is for all sizes, shapes and ages, see her Facebook page for details of her classes held in both Edinburgh and Musselburgh on various days and times. Beginners very much welcome, it is a very friendly environment to come and try something new.
Just catching the movement of the veils and the mix of colour was our highlight, we are delighted with the results.
